Reinventing a Classic

Bass holds the first ever Trademark, the iconic Red Triangle. Although it has legendary status, the British classic Bass was at a cross-road. Either modernise or become extinct.

Working closely with the Bass team at Ab&Bev we ran a two day workshop and overnight design sprint to update Bass and bring it back to life.

It wasn’t simple. We had to retain loyalists whilst engage new consumers. This meant walking a fine line and treating every asset with care. In practice this meant testing the brand distinctive assets with consumers before making fine tweaks.

The result is a modern & respectful take on the brand that punters in UK pubs can continue to be proud to drink.
